We feel like both friends and family (even though we get treated as guests). They say you can't choose your family, but you can choose your friends. We are so lucky, we have gotten to choose both at Merlindale.

September 2009	Mick, Leicestershire	Excellent hosts - Parking - Lovely Rooms - Substantial Breakfast We had a very warm welcome and shown to a very nice room exceptionally clean. Many thanks to John, Jacky and Paulette for making our stay such a pleasant one. Breakfast was plentiful and our compliments to the chef, the waiter was good too! Will return again!

September 2009	Karen, Denver Colorado	Quite possibly the best B&B host and hostess in all of Scotland John and Jacky are probably the best host and hostess in all of Scotland. You are not a guest, you are family and it is a priceless experience; the stories told around the table and in the sitting room make you want to linger. Their guests become friends and their friends go back over and over. Spacious, clean rooms, goumet breakfast and delightful staff. Walking distance to Crieff city center, next door to fabulous French restaurant. Highly recommended.

September 2009	Jack, Cumbria	Friendly hosts, good value, clean and comfortable We chose Merlindale for a short 2 night break in central Scotland. Its location at Crieff was great for touring the superb countryside and the city of Perth. Jackie & John are excellent hosts and the rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Fantatstic breakfast sets you up for the day, as does the warm banter of hosts. A homely atmosphere and very good value. Will be returning.

March 2009	Almudena Parache	It was by sear chance that I first came to Merlindale and it was such a wonderfull experience, that I try to travel to Scottland, and of couser stay in this marvellous B&B, every summer. You can do a lot in Crieff: ride horses, visit the Spa, walk in such a nice countriside you only know from movies, eat in really good restaurants and, of course, play in the bests golf courses... and after these activities you will be received in the luxury and very comfortable atmosphere with the best kitchen, and, above all, the best hosts. Enjoy it

August 2009	Taz, Mc, South Africa	Old School Hospitality Lovely big old house, book the room with the fancy bathroom if you can. Breakfast was tasty, large and very elegantly served. The owner is a chef so meals can be eaten in house on request, but it is walking distance to the town centre where there are a few restaurants and pubs. The owners and staff felt like friends by the time we left, but don't let that put you off. They were very professional until we made friendly conversation, so if you don't feel like endless chatting it won't be forced on you.

August 2009	Scot, Ayr	WOW! This has to be one if not the best B+B's in the country! Loved every minute of our stay, We stayed in the blue room, it was beautiful with a wonderful en-suite bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was cooked to order and was presented beautifully on the plate!, just another nice touch from this class place. If your looking to stay in the Crieff/Perthshire area do not look anywhere else, go to the Merlindale you will not be disappointed.
