🐾 Support & Service Dog Policy

At Merlindale Bed and Breakfast (Licence STLL PK12172F), we warmly welcome guests travelling with certified support or service dogs.

Where They Can Stay

Support and service dogs are accepted in our ground-floor Orchid Room, which offers easy outdoor access and a comfortable space for both guests and their dogs.

Fees

There are no additional fees or deposits for registered support or service dogs.

Certification

We kindly ask guests to provide documentation confirming the dog’s assistance status (for example, from a recognised assistance dog organisation or healthcare professional) when booking or upon arrival.

Guest Responsibilities

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, owners are asked to:

Keep dogs under control and well-behaved at all times.
Ensure dogs are house-trained and clean.
Not leave dogs unattended in the room for long periods.
Accept responsibility for any damage caused by their dog.

Important Note

Only the Orchid Room accommodates assistance dogs, keeping other rooms pet-free for guests with allergies or sensitivities.

Merlindale fully supports the Equality Act 2010 and the rights of guests who require certified assistance animals.
